Innovate 33 is here to create the largest NETWORK and NET-WORTH of women investors. Women investing in women, especially women of color investing in women of color, directly confronts systemic inequalities in wealth distribution and access to capital. It's a powerful mechanism for building economic agency and creating intergenerational wealth within historically marginalized communities, unlocking immense economic potential.

Mentor-Only

Mentor-Only provides Leaders the ability to support the Innovate 33 members through mentorship. Mentors need to have a genuine interest in helping members achieve their personal development objectives.  

As a Mentor, you should be prepared to:

  • Build investing strategy plans with Mentee 

  • Connect Monthly to review the progress

  • Quarterly in-person connections 

  • Sponsorship (when applicable) to join deal opportunities 

  • Help Mentees develop their personal and professional skills 

  • To provide guidance, advice, feedback, and support to the Mentee

As a Mentee, you should be prepared to: 

  • Organize the meetings and prepare the agenda

  • Be clear about what they want to learn from their mentor

  • Be teachable

  • Actively listen and act on it when relevant

  • Manage time effectively

  • Share their progress and reflect on learnings

Due Diligence Essentials for Angel Investors

Course Goal: Building upon the foundational knowledge, this course focuses on the critical process of due diligence. Learners will acquire practical skills to evaluate potential investment opportunities, identify red flags, and assess the viability and potential of a startup. The objective is to enable investors to make informed decisions by thoroughly vetting a company's team, market, product, and financials.

Valuations, Deal Structures, and Post-Investment Strategies

Course Goal:This advanced course delves into the intricacies of valuing early-stage companies and structuring investment deals. Learners will understand various valuation methodologies applicable to pre-revenue or early-revenue startups and learn how different deal terms impact their investment. Furthermore, the course will cover post-investment strategies, including portfolio management, follow-on rounds, and navigating potential exit scenarios.

Angel Investment Office Hours

This interactive program offers invaluable guidance from seasoned angels, covering essential strategies for identifying promising startups, evaluating opportunities, and building a high-impact investment portfolio.
